It's smaller than the other models on this list, making it easier to navigate in tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220 degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the most effective navigation and object avoidance that I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery during the cleaning.

It's fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and the hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in a single sweep. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to remove dirt, pet hair, and poop effortlessly. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs and the dual side brush assists in removing debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a little more than other robots. This is useful when you're trying to get into tight corners or on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to scoop up larger debris such as books and toys that have been damaged.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've tried. It doesn't create the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It is easy to set up and works well. However, if you are buying this vacuum solely for mopping purposes, you will need to be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a range of features.

The device is equipped with an efficient cleaning system that incorporates LiDAR sensor technology and robot vacuum That mops an RGB camera. This allows it to map out the house and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and effectively. The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot hoover vacuum and mop which means it is able to handle both vacuuming and mopping. It's not the most modern thing to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping but it does mean you don't have to fret about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank of water.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our test, but it also has unique features that are worth considering. The X1 Omni is most notable for its massive dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin as well as a 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base also has a variety of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start a cleaning job and then recall the robot or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two of the buttons to toggle the child lock, which is a nice option for parents concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni like other robotic vacuums uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path. It will avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate in finding objects.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally get caught up in an obstruction, such as the power cord that is draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you manually free it. This was a rare occurrence however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during a cleaning session. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but the mopping pad doesn't get washed or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a significant change from the utilitarian all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing appearance in a market which is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
