It took Anna approximately 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer support number in case you encounter any issues.

Alongside the usual features you'd expect from a crib for your bed, like being able to connect to your existing bed using a stay-in-place connection system and six height levels The CoZee comes with an additional incline option that can be used to help ease reflux or congestion in babies. The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco’s more expensive alternatives. It does have many excellent features. It can be used either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib and is suitable for infants from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel using the new mechanism. It's also more flexible than its predecessor with 11 different height levels and feet that retract to installation under any bed.

Our testers were impressed by the ease of use offered by the side panel that can be moved up and downwards with just one push of a switch. This was a huge help during night time feeds because it meant they could reach into and take their baby away without disturbing them up.

It is possible to lower the side panel by itself, but this isn't recommended since it increases the likelihood that your child could get out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the bed properly. This feature is fantastic for peace of mind if you are breastfeeding and need frequent feedings at night.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to work with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers due to the legs that can be telescopic. It comes with a tilting function for reflux babies, and the ability to rock to calm them after a feeding. It's also very spacious and offers great ventilation due to its mesh sides.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, even with the lengthy instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers but it can still be easily moved from one area to another. It's small enough to fit in a travel bag when not in use, which is a bonus in the event that you have to transport it. The only downside our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex like some of the other models, making it a little harder to observe your child from your own bed.
