Options for training

It is possible to spread the training over the five-year period. The course is usually paid for by your employer.
There are two kinds of instruction for Code 95: the long course and the short. The long course is about four weeks in length and culminates with a test administered by the government. After passing the exam, you will be issued a plastic ID card. The card has to be submitted to the unification of the European certificate database. The institution you attended will submit it to database. It takes 14 days to process the card.
The long course costs approximately 2,000 PLN. The exam costs 300 PLN. You will also have pay a fee to the school to submit your certificate to the unifying European database. Once the card has been issued, you can take it to the school.
As trainers you must follow a set of protocols to be able to offer a course that issues Code 95. You must first submit a plan of instruction to the CBR. The plan must be approved by the CBR before classes begin. You must also adhere to other strict guidelines throughout the training.
Once you have successfully completed the course you will receive a certification of regular training from the CBR. This certificate can be submitted to the RDW. If the application is successful you will be able to renew your license with the municipality. If you do not renew your license before the expiry date, you won't be able to drive professionally for more than 12 hours per week. If you want to drive for more than 12 hours per week, you'll need to complete a new training course.
Exams
To obtain the code 95 indication on your license, you must pass both theoretic and practical tests. These exams can either be taken separately, or as part of the acquisition of a basic category licence at a driving school. On successful completion of the exam, you will receive a certificate as well as a code 95 card. The card is valid only for five years and has to be renewed by the expiration date.
You can choose between the short or long course for the code 95 examination, according to the training program. The long course is about four weeks and ends with a governmental test. In this exam you will have to answer 30 questions on the subjects covered during your classes.
You must complete 35 hours of periodic training every five years following passing the code 95 examination. This can be completed in the country where you reside or work in. The regular training is conducted with an instructor. The CBR offers an online tool that allows you to locate a teacher. You will receive a certificate from your teacher as well as the CBR after you have completed the course. The CBR will inform the RDW that you have completed your training.

To drive a truck, you must have an official driver's license
