The app guides you through the entire process. It's also easy to use and set up. Its ability to restart where it left off in our tests is a great feature. It was able to do this for 77 minute on one cleaning, and then the battery died.

The i3+ EVO unlike the other robot vacuums that we tested has a self-emptying bin that automatically dumps debris in an external dirt container on its charging base once it's full. The i3+ EVO is able to prevent overfilling by a self-emptying bin. However, it must still be manually emptied at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L that will last for four to five cleaning sessions.

This model, like the i7, utilizes state-of-the-art floor-tracking sensors to produce maps. It also allows you to navigate in neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only store one map, while the i7 is able to store multiple. The i7 can also utilize its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, however the i3+ EVO can't.

Although the i3+ EVO is more effective at picking up dirt and debris from surfaces than the other robovacs we looked at however, it's not the most effective for cleaning corners and edges.
