Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations used.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for one similar item, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any money wasted will not be refunded.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item for example, increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll their equipment in three attributes that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item upgrader kit to a higher-quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next Success result is repeated. This allows you to save upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened they show a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

During the course of an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item upgrader mod will be raised in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want burden their wallets. Additionally players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire them. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.

Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be applied and a minimum level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can place an item to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades will not be available to it. Likewise, once an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

Upgrades to items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item upgrader Kit level. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.

Some items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. These include the type of item upgrade (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of that item as well as the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
