1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double
The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest model in the Baby Jogger range. It was designed specifically to travel and fits through doors that are standard with its ultra-narrow shape. It's also among the lightest double buggies available that weighs just 14lbs when folded. It's ideal for travel with a newborn and toddler because you won't be able to exceed the allowances for luggage on airlines. It can also be folded to the size of an incredibly small travel bag which means you can put it in the back of your car.
The one-handed, Z-shape folding is a breeze and it's extremely compact once you master it. It can take a couple of only a few seconds to unfold. Our tester found the auto-lock somewhat confusing, and since the handlebar doesn't lock into its position when you push it, it hit her leg when she was using it. The handlebar was a bit shorter than she would like particularly with a large changing bag hanging off it.
This double stroller isn't as light as other travel buggies. It's got a broad variety of features, and is among the most versatile double strollers on the market. It's compatible with two carrycots (available separately) It also has several recline positions and has a UV 50+ canopy. You can add the bassinet to one or both seats to make it an all-in-one travel system.
The four composite wheels made of rubber are perfect for pavements and urban terrain however they're not made for off-roading - they struggled with long grass and gravel and there's not much space between the wheel and bracket which means that mud could get stuck easily. However our tester was still enthralled riding this buggy, and it did climb some pretty muddy hills.

It's a heavier tandem buggie but it's a breeze to drive and use especially on smooth pavements. It is stable in both double and
single to double buggy modes and even on sloping terrain. It's not as simple to use on public transport as it requires two hands to hold the handlebar. It's also a little bulky and can't be stuffed into the standard car boot for families with the seat attached however this can be overcome by careful planning. iCandy has included a footmuff and changing bag included in the price, making this an excellent value package for parents who are just starting out.

5. Nipper Double V5
The Nipper
double buggy travel system V5 is a new model from Out 'n' About of the award-winning buggies that can be used on all terrains. It is designed for twins or other siblings and features recliner chairs that are independent, compatible with carrycots, and an ultra-light frame for easy manoeuvrability on bumpy terrain.

The 360-degree swivel can be locked in place to allow for easier maneuvering around the town. The one-pedal easy lock brake is also simple to use.
Our test participants found that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even walking on uneven ground or turning quickly in the middle of a busy street. The possibility that the seats could be reclined independently was also hugely appreciated.
They also appreciated that the hoods could be moved forward and back and back, making them much easier to adjust to the sun or for wind protection. Our test subjects did notice however that they did not provide an extensive amount of coverage compared to something like the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods, so it might be recommended to bring a rain jacket in case of need.
Overall, our test participants loved the way Nipper Double let them to take their twin girls Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures, from seeing wildlife in the woods, to rushing to the park for a quick playdate. They were also awed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are, with plenty of room for growing toddlers to play in. Our test participants did not agree, however, that the lack of a parent-facing seating and the inability of using car seats in this buggy was a drawback, and they would like to have more storage space for shopping and other gear.
