Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The
item upgrade (
easybookmark.win) is an enchantment that boosts the stats of a specific armor or weapons. This includes tertiary stats such as Leech or Speed.
A special item for evolution that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. It can be found at Pokestops and Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be utilized on any kind of equipment and offer fewer benefits than other components that are equipment type specific.
Leveling
The upgrade system lets players improve items by increasing their level. The level increase also improves the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Each level upgrade adds a bonus based on level and boosts the stat by a factor of 3. These bonuses range from +3 to a +1 bonus, to a random buff.
Each item is limited to a certain number of upgrades. After the upgrade the item is completed, it can be upgraded to a better-quality product of equal or greater worth.
This system is extremely useful for players who wish to acquire gear with a certain level of stats before having the opportunity to obtain a new item. The transfer system enables players to not waste upgrade material and is easy to use.
Upgrade materials are gathered when a player clears content and can be used to enhance or replace an item. Every item requires a specific kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction stones while armor items require Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. The materials are named after when the item is upgraded, such as Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.
Upgrades to items are essential to improve the performance of a character, but it is important to consider the cost prior to making any upgrades. The cost of upgrading an
item upgrader kit could be a lot of gold that could be better spent on new gear. This is why it's best to upgrade the most crucial items in any given situation.
This typically involves upgrading the weapon first before the legs and chest and finally the helm. If the player can afford it upgrading trinkets must be done at this point to maximize their proc potential. For example, a high-end Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading to get greater damage it can cause from its procs. However, certain trinkets aren't worth upgrading as long as they provide an important boost in a specific build. This is especially true for some breakpoint gear that are used to calculate high-value stats such as IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is an action that lets players alter stats on a weapon, rings, or armor depending on its type. It can be used to give new bonuses or replace existing ones. It can also be used to alter the item's base power.
Rerolling is a great method to increase your strength in the beginning stages however it's not required. When you reach your goal of upgrading to level 6, it's usually best to reroll and search for the most powerful upgrades or save cash to buy the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a strong collection of items at the time you reach your goal of upgrading to level 9.
The rerolling process is very similar to the level-up system. You can use reroll tokens to eliminate any Level Up option from your item and swap it for another. Reroll tokens like Level Up do not reset the level of an item. This means that when you reroll an upgraded item, it will no longer be at the same level and will not have the additional bonus.
In addition to rerolling, players can use a special technique called Eliminate to remove any one Level Up option from their equipment or weapons. This is a great option if you get a bad gacha result or you want to reroll a five-star unit. You'll need to create a brand new account or sign in via social media.
In the same way, there is an Occultist in every town who can be contacted to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects and/or stats. This is useful if you want to enhance your epic five-star unit, or even if your four-star elite player is causing you problems.
Another way to reroll an item is by using the rerolling tokens that are obtained through the completion of quests. These can be purchased from the Occultist for 300 gold, or they can be found in the holozon boxes that are dropped after having completed certain dungeons. You can then change the roll of any weapon or armor, or ring by moving the icon with the lock on it to the desired slot on the page of your unit's.
Sets
A set is a collection of items that have a certain amount of similarity. Sets are used every day like a dozen eggs or a group of friends. They are beneficial because they let you organize things, and operations such as intersection, union and distinction help you manage them efficiently. Sets can be used in many ways, such as organizing the music on a playlist or classifying students according to their grades.
In Nioh, the game uses sets to give special effects for players who wear specific pieces of an Armor Set. These bonuses, also known as Set Bonuses, are comparable to and sometimes even better than Effects. While it's not explained in-universe why the armor sets need to be worn together to create these extra effects, they provide an interesting change of pace when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses can be found in many places around Hyrule, such as the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.
Set Bonuses are included with every piece of equipment in a Set. The tooltip on the bottom of the item will tell you which Set Bonuses are offered. The Set Bonuses will show in the form of a red box.
Some of these bonuses are exclusive to specific pieces of equipment. For instance, if you have the complete Phantom Armor set you will receive +8 defense (compared to the standard +3 defense included in most equipment). Some sets are only available by completing certain tasks, or by purchasing them at the Auction House.
It is also possible to get Set Bonuses on several pieces of equipment simultaneously. For instance, if have the complete Kestra's Descent set and the matching parts of the Twinblade of Shadow you will receive the + version of that set's bonus when you soul match it.
In contrast to Effects which change every time you upgrade them, Set Bonuses stay identical even when the pieces of equipment they are connected to increase in. If an item is exemplared to levels that are too low the set bonus will stop working.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are special effects that are available on a set of equipment which can provide a boost in combat. They offer a specific percentage of a specific attribute, such as defenses, weapon damage, or resistances. They cannot stack, however; only one of them can be used at any time. The amount of a stat is determined by the number of pieces of the set have been used that is, you can have three chests, one armour and four weapons, for instance, but only the one with the most bonus will benefit you.
They generally boost the primary stats of a piece, but they can also boost secondary stats also. Defence bonuses boost three positional defence values and two types of defense. For instance a five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you 400 defense in your equipment. This is a huge increase in your gear, specifically as a melee character.
This is a great feature, and it seems to be among the more popular in the game. There are currently only a handful of sets of gear are equipped with set bonuses. They are only available on the Test Realm. However, this number is likely to increase when the update is out. For example, the incredibly popular 7 school-specific Dragoon's gear will have its bonus added when the update goes live.
Set bonuses don't stack within a set however they can stack across sets. This is great for those that want to use the most efficient combination of sets. It requires some planning. As set bonuses only affect the shell of a piece of equipment (not the armoring, mod or the enhancement), you have to be aware of where you place them.
It is important to note that the amount of the set's bonus won't change regardless of whether your exemplar level is greater than three levels below the minimum required for an enhancement. Purple (Very Rare) Sets, PvP sets and Archetype Origin sets are exempt from this rule, and their set bonuses are in effect regardless of the degree of exemplars for an item.
