Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean provide the convenience of cleaning dry debris and wet messes in one time without the need to switch between devices. They can also help save space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot must have impressive navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models with docks that let them automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks, and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has a lot to offer at a affordable price, and it's one of the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is simple and the quick-start guide can get you up and running in no time. You'll have a the complete dust bag, water tank and a hard floor.
The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can is able to clean up a storm and also vacuums well. The mops spin at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a range of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app that lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
For example, you can choose to have the robot do a deep clean in the kitchen and living rooms but go easy on the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation technology are superb as the robot is capable of detecting small obstacles that other models struggle with. The only issue it has is that it can crash into walls and objects at a high speed, but just a glance at the history of cleaning within the app will show you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed and the obstacles it's avoided.
The docking station has a handy LCD screen that displays when maintenance is needed, such as emptying debris and cleaning the water tank that is dirty. It's also able to mix detergent automatically into the water tank, with a 600ml bottle of Eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop can operate for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in normal mode, before having to recharge or returning to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive, allowing you to view every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's most popular robot mop and vacuum. It's not like the model from last year, this one features a double agitator in its mopping pad which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity that enables it to remove finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.
As with the two other Roborock models I've tested, this one has reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by adding a dual camera which can recognize objects and determine whether they're a wall or another type of surface. It will then automatically alter its direction and clean the objects without a pause.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, however, it's also the most loaded with features. Its sleek, angular design is eye catching and comes with three physical buttons. The power button, which resumes the
cleaning robot mop and vacuum mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child lock and a home button to send the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml of water tank. The water tank is self-emptying, and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only negative I discovered with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if needed), it's a pain to take off the mount to wash manually. I've noticed that any carpet that the
robot vacuum cleaner best touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of intelligent features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, track battery life and component maintenance. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops to allow voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the performance of this model.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a market leader with its innovative features, top suction power and advanced mowing capabilities. Its intelligent design allows for customized and efficient cleaning while reducing time.
The X40

This powerful vacuum can clean up pet hair as well as crumbs and other dry messes. It comes with a mop of high quality that cleans hard floors without using a pad. The X40 is also very quiet when in operation and only occasionally bursting during mode changes or self-maintenance.
The X40 also has an additional side brush that can be lifted and extended. This lets it reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean furniture that is curved like chairs and table legs. It can also get under low-profile furnishings, making it an excellent option for smaller apartments or condos. The side brush automatically tilts down when it spots wet spots. This is a wonderful feature that helps the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors through excessive back-and forth movements.
In contrast to other robots that are limited to one task, the X40 can mop and vacuum at the same time. It can be programmed to only mop the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, or vice versa. It can be controlled via the Dreame app or via Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for a seamless voice-controlled operation.
The app is intuitive and easy to use, and the X40's smart features are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. It can also be adjusted to adjust suction power, alter modes, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's done.
The X40 is easy to clean and has numerous features that make it an ideal option for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the trash bin into a 3.2 L bin, cleans mop pads and refills them with clean water and cleaning solution. It can also detect when the mop pad is filled and notify you when it gets overflowing, reducing the necessity for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available. It does have a number of characteristics that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature of its mops, uses two mop heads that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is significantly higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can vacuum up pet hair and other small dirt particles in addition to removing spills and wet spots.
The mop mops are cleaned and dried in the base station every time they are used. This is a great feature since it prevents the build-up of mould and unpleasant odours in the storage area, and it also makes the mop system a lot more efficient. It's a system that we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuums and mop models and it could be a great method to keep your home clean for longer.
There's an impressive amount of options available which include the possibility to schedule cleaning appointments and adjust a number of different preferences. The app lets you define these preferences, or use the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and has many options to customize your cleaning routine. It also has several functions that are not available on other robots, such as the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks sophisticated and classy. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots on this listing but it's not excessively heavy. It feels solid and well-built. The mopping design is also excellent, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors as well as in corners. They can even extend up to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
