A euro cylinder must be measured accurately to ensure it is the right size for your door. The cylinder should be measured from the hole for fixing screws in the middle to the other end of the cylinder including the thumb turn if you have one. It is best to do this with the lock in place however when this isn't feasible, you can take it off and take it off to measure.
