Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the best way to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mop I tested had great navigation and mapping. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were tangled.
They're also simple to use using an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the
best robotic mop and vacuum robot vacuum that mops mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end model is incredibly swift and agile and can pick up dirt such as hair from pets and human hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your house and some on-screen buttons for manual control.
Another standout characteristic of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more often when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
It has a variety of other innovative features too, including an alternative dock that connects to your home plumbing to clean and wash the mop without requiring you to refill it manually. You can even make use of voice commands using the S8's built-in voice assistant, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that also has mopping capabilities. It's one of the combination robot vacuums that have mops that are also offered at a lower price than competitors.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to start, including setting up an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot is able to begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process takes some time, and it may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. The object detection feature is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it required a flip to release itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an appliance that can do everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned, not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional intelligent features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you modify the settings of your choice that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and put the debris in a self sealing bag. This keeps the system clean, and also stops allergens from circulating. And its battery lifespan is long enough to cover large areas without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the more top-quality
robot vacuum cleaner reviews vacuums and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It features a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. It had trouble with small particles and did not always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also quite high, which suggests it could be less of a set-and-forget model than other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water, empty the dustbin, dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes upkeep easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on an ongoing basis. You can manage all of its functions through the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers available, and offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, create no-go zones and modify their cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system incorporates smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they're near soft surfaces to prevent contamination.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station features an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust and allows for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8, this robot does a bang-up job at keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D-map of your home so it knows what to stay clear of. In addition, unlike other vacuums that can mop, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids items such as bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).
Other amazing features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also alter the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
Like the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to save time, it will avoid mopping rooms that aren't filthy. If you have a variety of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities, this is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this little robot is an excellent choice. It has a range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings through the app. It's extremely quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It's unable to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug, and its battery drains faster than other models we tested.
With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and a handy automation into a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it performed well. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It also has the capability to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in smaller spaces. It's quiet and quick and does a great job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its rivals however it doesn't compromise features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take pictures of every object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they will not be picked up again during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and are not connected to your account.
It is great at vacuuming, but not as well in mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
