It comes with 11 height adjustments to fit almost any mattress size. It also has adjustable folding feet that ensure it sits exactly at the right level.

The cot bedside is cushioned and has mesh sides to increase the airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density, foam for extra protection. It's also able to be cleaned so you can keep it clean. Additionally, it is fitted with a sheet that is suitable for the cot.

Unlike some other bedside crib and cot cribs, the Roomie Glide is suitable for all beds, including divans due to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a standalone crib when not attached to the bed. It's full of amazing features specifically designed with the bonding between parents and babies in mind.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that while this crib is ideal for babies, it won't last long once your little one turns six months old, so you'll require a bigger cot. Overall, Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide crib was an excellent buy. She was impressed by its sleek design.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase at John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna felt was an affordable price for a cot featuring these innovative features. She also liked how it was positioned in the bedroom and believed that the grey color would suit most modern homes. However, she pointed out that it's not an ideal idea to rock a younger baby as it could set an unhealthy habit that can affect later sleep patterns.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to give you the best Bedside cot sleep possible. It features a drop-side rail that can be easily lifted to feed your child during the night without disturbing them or getting out of the bed. This is great for breastfeeding mothers! It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house during nap time and when traveling.

It's made from soft materials and features mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It's available in charcoal and oak and has a variety of melange fabric options that work well with a variety of decor styles. Anna discovered that it was sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secure for safety. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or support number available if you run into any problems.

As well as the usual features you'd expect from a crib for your bed that include the ability to attach to your bed using a stay-in-place connector system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option that can be used to alleviate reflux or congestion in babies. It's also machine washable, a necessity for all the dribbles and vomit that come with having a baby!

If you're looking to keep your baby close during the first six months of their life when they're able to go to sleep on their own, the CoZee is a fantastic option as it can also be used as a standalone crib, changing table and toddler bed. It can even be converted into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. And while it won't feed your baby or magically sleep them, it will rock them to send them off!

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of the more expensive options, however it comes with a lot of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib and is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It has a new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel, and is easy to use even with one hand. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor with 11 different height levels and feet that retract to fit under any bed.

Our testers were impressed by the ease of use offered by the side panel that can be moved up and downwards with just one click of a switch. This was particularly helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick their baby up without disturbing them.

It is possible to lower the side panel by itself but this is not advised, as it increases the risk that your baby will fall out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism guarantees that it will only stay down when attached to the parent's bed correctly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases as well as beds with drawers. It comes with a tilting function for reflux babies, and the ability to rock to soothe them to sleep after a meal. It is also very spacious and has excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.

Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, although it comes with a long instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than some of the other side-sleepers but it's still very portable and can be moved from room to room easily. It can also be folded into a travel bag, which is a great option if you want to transport it. The only negative our testers found is that the side panel didn't move as much as other models. This made it a bit harder to observe your baby from the bed.

The Shnuggle Air

If you're in search of a crib for your bed that will develop with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth considering. It's a co-sleeping crib that is securely attached to your bed and can be transformed into a stylish cot when your baby is old enough. It is ideal for feeding your baby at night and enhancing your bond with your baby's new.

Contrary to other models of bedside cribs, the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. Its dual-view mesh sides and breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress maximize airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline helps to ease reflux and colic, while the zip down side allows you to feed or soothe your baby throughout the night.

The kit for converting cots is also well-designed, with clear instructions. It comes with everything you need. It took us around an hour to assemble, and was fairly simple to put together. The only issue with the instructions was that a few images did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. Overall, the procedure was easy and the materials used were of high quality.

The Shnuggle Air is a great option for mothers who are nursing or have had a c-section. It lets them reach out and touch their baby for comfort and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's also great for mothers who want to avoid the stress of getting into and out of a traditional cot, or placing their child down for a nap.

The gliding motion was found to be extremely helpful in lulling babies into sleep following meals during the midday or at night. The drop-down side is also easily accessed to feed or soothe babies in the middle of the night, which was a real selling point for our exhausted test mothers. Although it doesn't rock, or have additional features, like a sound machine, the Joie Roomie Glide's elegant design and practicality are a welcome addition to our best bedside crib reviews.
