John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for an item. She was pleased with the way it looked in her bedroom and thought the grey color would work in most modern homes. However, she pointed out that it's not an ideal idea to rock a younger baby, as it can create the stage for bad habits that will affect later sleep patterns.

We love the fact that it's made of soft fabrics with breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and ease of use. It is available in charcoal or oak and a variety of melange fabrics that will blend with most decor styles. Anna found it to be solid and secure when it was attached to her bed with the legs firmly snapping into the bed and the zips secured for baby-safety. It took her about 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video as well as a customer support number available if you run into any problems.
The CoZee crib has all the features you would think of in a crib for your bed, including the ability to attach it to your existing bed using a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. Additionally it has an inclines feature that can be used to help babies with congestion or reflux. It's also machine-washable, which is a necessity with all the dribble and vomit that comes with having a baby!
If you want to keep your baby close during the first six months as they're able to go to sleep on their own The CoZee is a fantastic option as it can also be used as a standalone crib, changing table and toddler bed. It can even be converted into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. Although it can't magically put your baby to sleep or feed them, it will rock the baby and take them to school.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's more expensive options, however it has a wide array of features. It's designed to function as a side sleeper or standalone crib and is suitable from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel using the new mechanism. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels and feet that retract to fit under any bed.
Our testers appreciated the ease of access provided by the side panel, which can be moved upwards and downwards with just one click of a switch. This was especially helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick their baby up without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lowered by itself, too however it isn't recommended as this increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. The patented safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will remain in place if it's attached correctly to the mattress of the parent. This feature is fantastic to have peace of mind when you're breastfeeding and require frequent night feeds.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be compatible with any bed that includes divan bases as well as beds with drawers thanks to the legs that can be telescopic. It also comes with a tilting function for babies with reflux and a rocking feature to soothe them back to sleep after eating. It's also extremely spacious and offers great ventilation due to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers despite the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than some of the other side-sleepers but it's still very mobile and can be moved from room room with ease. It's also foldable into a
travel cot bedside bag, which is a great option if you want to transport it. The only negative our testers found is that the side panel did not flex as much compared to other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to see the baby from your bed.
The Shnuggle Air
If you're looking for a crib for your bed that will develop with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth considering. It is designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that is attached to your bed but also transform into a stylish cot once your baby is ready, it's ideal for feeding at night and growing your bond with your baby.

The mesh side panels with dual-view and hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress allow for maximum airflow, keeping your baby comfortable and cool. The gentle slope helps alleviate colic and reflux. The zipper-down side lets you to feed your baby, or even comfort them during the night.
The kit for converting cots is also well designed, with clear instructions. It includes everything you require. It took us about an hour to put together and was relatively simple. The only downside to the instructions was that some images were not captioned. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. Overall, it was a simple procedure and the quality of materials employed was of a high standard.
In co-sleeping mode we discovered the Shnuggle Air to be an ideal choice for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a C-section, because it lets them comfortably reach out to their baby for comfort and feeding without having to climb out of their bed. It's ideal for parents who do not want to go through the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot, or getting out of it.
In our tests, we found the gliding motion of this next-to-me crib to be particularly helpful when it comes to lulling babies back to sleep after feedings at midday and in the evening. The drop-down sides make it easy to feed or soothe babies throughout the night. This was a big selling point for our exhausted moms who took part in our tests. The Joie Roomie Glide is a sleek and functional crib that isn't rocking, nor has extra features like the sound machine.
