One thing to bear in mind is that even though this crib is perfect for babies, it won't last long after your child is six months old, so you will have to purchase a bigger cot. But, in general Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a excellent purchase and she particularly liked its elegant design.
The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna thought was a reasonable cost for a cot that has such innovative features. She also liked the way it appeared in the bedroom, and believed that the grey color will work well in modern homes. However, she did point out that it's not an ideal idea to rock a smaller baby as it could set a bad habit for later sleep patterns.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of the more expensive options. However, it has a lot of great features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib that is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel thanks to a brand new mechanism. It's also more flexible than the previous model, with 11 different height settings and legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.
Our testers loved the easy access to the side panel that can be lowered and raised at the touch of a button. This was particularly useful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick up their baby without waking them up.
It is possible to lower the side panel by it's own, however this is not advised, since it increases the likelihood that your baby will be thrown out of the cot. The patented safety locking system ensures that the side panel will only stay down if it is properly attached to the parent's mattress. This feature is fantastic for peace of mind if you are breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.

Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, although it does have quite an extensive instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers but it can still be easily moved from one room to another. It can also be folded into a travel bag which is a great option if you want to transport it. The only downside our test subjects found was that the side panel didn't move as much as some of the other models, which made it difficult to see your baby from your own bed.

The conversion kit for cots (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you require to start. It took us about an hour to put together and was fairly simple to put together. The only drawback was the lack of written captions on a few images, which made it difficult to comprehend some of the steps. Overall, the process was simple and the materials used were of top quality.
The Shnuggle Air is a great option for women who are breastfeeding or have had a c-section. It lets them reach out and hold their baby for comfort and feeding without leaving their bed. It's also great for mothers who wish to avoid the hassle of getting in and out of a traditional cot, or placing their child down for a nap.
During our testing we observed the gliding motion of this next-to-me crib to be particularly beneficial in lulling babies back to sleep after midday and nighttime feeds. The drop-down side can be accessible to feed or calm babies in the middle of the night this was a huge benefit for our exhausted test mums. The Joie Roomie Glide is a modern and stylish crib that doesn't rock nor does it come with extra features like a sound machine.
