robots that vacuum and mop (
fatahal.com`s blog)
Robots that vacuum and clean provide the convenience of cleaning both dry and wet messes in one time and without the need to switch devices. They can also reduce space compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living areas.

A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that have docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks and machine-wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has a lot to offer at a modest price and is one of the most simple robots we've tested to install. Unpacking is simple and the quick-start guide gets you up and running in no time. It comes with an entire dust bag, water tank and hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can cleans up a mess and is a great vacuum cleaner too. The mops are spun at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly get rid of pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a range of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app which lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For instance, you could choose to have the robot take care of a thorough clean-up in the living and kitchen areas but go easy on the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation technology are also excellent, with the
robot vacuum that mops being capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. Its only minor issue is that it can crash into walls and objects at a high speed, but an instant glance at the cleaning history in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading, and which obstacles it's run into or avoided.
A handy LCD screen on the docking station shows you when maintenance tasks must be completed like emptying the debris tray, and washing the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the water tank by itself by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop is able to run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode. The vacuum can last 136 mins in normal mode, before needing recharging or returning to the base. The app is simple to use and intuitive and lets you look at all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's most popular robot mop and
best automatic vacuum. The model this year has two agitators built into its mopping pad. This increases the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to remove fine hairs and other debris that other
best robotic mop and vacuum cleaners may be unable to pick up.
Like the other two Roborock models I've tried, this one has reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which helps it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating two cameras that can recognize objects, and determine if they are walls or other surfaces. It will then automatically alter its path and clean them without missing a beat.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed but it's also feature-packed. Its sleek and angular design is eye catching and only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which restarts the cleaning process mop button, which doubles up as a child-lock and a home button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal the 350ml dust bin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying and the bin auto-refilling.
The only issue I have discovered with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount to wash it manually. I've observed that any carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mount, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number clever features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these smart features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you schedule cleanings and track battery life. You'll need to jump through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. It's a shame considering the performance otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. Its intelligent design allows users to tailor and effectively clean while saving time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first one to provide 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful choices available. This powerful vacuum is able to clean up pet hair as well as crumbs and other dry debris. It also has a high-quality mop that leaves hard floors spotlessly clean, even with a wet pad. The X40 is also very quiet while in use and only occasionally bursting during mode changes or self-maintenance.
The X40 also comes with a side brush that can be lifted and extended. This lets it reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean furniture that is curved like table and chair legs. The robot can also reach under furniture that is low-profile, making it an excellent option for apartments with small spaces or condos. The side brush automatically tilts down when it detects wet spots. This is a nice feature that helps the X40 to avoid damaging floors by repeated back-and-forth movements.
Contrary to other robots which only focus on one task, the X40 is capable of performing both vacuuming and mopping simultaneously or in a series. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, or reverse the process. It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.
The app is simple to use and intuitive The X40 comes with a variety of smart features that are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. They can also adjust suction power, switch modes, view floor plans and maps, and manage mopping setting. The X40 will also keep track of its progress, and alert you when it's done.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many features that make it an excellent choice for busy families. The docking station will automatically cleans the dustbin and mop pads before refilling them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It can also detect when the mop pad is overflowing and alert you before it overflows, reducing the need for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive models available, but it packs in numerous extra features that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature of its mop heads, makes use of two high-speed mop heads to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can remove pet hair and other small dirt particles - as well as picking up spills and wet spots.
Its mops are also cleaned and dried inside the base station after every use. This is a great feature since it prevents the build-up of odours and mould in the storage area, and it also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature that we haven't seen on other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.
There are a lot of options, including the option to schedule cleanings and adjust preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app, or via buttons on the unit itself. The app is simple to use and has many options for customising your cleaning routine. It also has a number of functions that are not available on other robots, for instance the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects any dust particles.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks elegant and sophisticated. It's a bit heavier than the other two-in-1 robots on this list - at 4kg however it's not overly heavy either, and it feels sturdy and well-built. Mopping is well-designed, and the double rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. They can also reach down to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
