The
Best Robot Vacuum That Mops
Noah Pinsonnault is a product review analyst for the Home Care and Cleaning Lab at Good Housekeeping.

He conducts tests and reviews of cleaning equipment. His focus is on mopping and
Robot Vacuums That Mop vacuum combinations. Multitaskers can be an excellent choice for those who are looking to get rid of mopping off their list of things to do. Some of them have excellent mapping and obstacle avoidance. Some even wash and refill mopping pads themselves for a hands-free clean.
The Eufy S1 Pro
This is the model you need to select if you're looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220 degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best navigation and obstacle avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.
It's extremely efficient and does an outstanding job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms extremely quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to remove dirt, pet hair, and droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs and the double side brush helps to remove debris from corners.
The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by much. The mop rotates at a high speed and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a bit more than other
robots that vacuum and mop. This is helpful when getting into tight corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to sweep larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys or books.
Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It doesn't make as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's simple to install and is effective, but it's something you'll have to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum solely for the purpose of it mopping.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a variety of features.
The device has a powerful and impressive cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map your home and detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and efficiently. This will result in an efficient, consistent clean that's also fairly quick.
In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads are capable of reaching a wide range of surface areas. These include corners, baseboards, and other difficult-to-access spots. They also have a flexible side brush that extends to reach the floor near walls and other fixtures. In addition, the mop pads can be cleaned and dried to prevent build-up and reduce the smell.
Another noteworthy feature is the customizable options available via apps. The Q Revo lets you adjust the amount of suction and choose between a back-andforth, or a more randomized pattern. You can also alter the number of passes it must make, which will affect how quickly the device can move around your home. You can also decide to disable the side brush to prevent damaging carpets and rugs.
The device has a expensive price tag, but it is packed with a wide array of innovative features. It is important to note that the device incurs regular expenses, such as mopping supplies as well as regular maintenance. For instance brushrolls need to be replaced every six to 12 months or after 300 hours. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and mop pads should be changed every three month.
This robotic vacuum cleaner is a top Amazon rating and includes many physical automation features. The
vacuum mop cleaner robot also has an power button that doubles as a 'Clean button' as well as a 'Home' button to send it back home after cleaning. It also comes with a multi-functional dock which automatically empty the dustbin, refills its water tank and washes and drys its mop pads.
The Shark Matrix Plus
The Shark Matrix Plus will be a good option for busy professionals or anyone looking to keep their home clean without spending too much time doing chores. It's a top-performing device, intelligent navigation, and a long battery life that makes it easy to keep your home clean with minimal effort.
The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which means it can handle both vacuuming and mopping. It has two modules: a dry bin and water reservoir and a separate mopping unit with microfiber pads that snap into and out of position. It's not the most modern thing to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming but it does mean you don't have to worry about changing disposable bags or refilling the tank with water.
Our testers found that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming as well as mopping. Its most impressive feature was its precise floorplan, which it uses to create the path to follow when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app allows you to create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to prevent certain areas from being cleaned by a mop.
The Matrix Plus also did a remarkable job at collecting hair of pets. It was able capture some of the hair that sheds from our cats. It even got into the nooks and crannies of our stairs, where other robots struggled. Its noise levels were fairly low, and there were some nice jingles to let you know that it was starting and working towards its goal.
The app was too easy and you had to change the modules every time you changed between mops and vacuuming. The app can't contain multiple maps, which could be a problem if you have a home that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want an intelligent robot that can do both mopping and vacuuming.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it does have distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its huge dock that doubles as an charging base for the
robot vacuum cleaners reviews, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin as well as an 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.
The base also comes with a set of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start a cleaning job or recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.
Like other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni utilizes its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.
Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni could occasionally become so entangled with obstacles, like a power cord draped across a rug, that it gets stuck and ceases to function until you free it. Although this is not a common occurrence but it was a very frustrating experience when it happened particularly since the X1 Omni doesn't come with an "stuck" status alert on its app.
The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad doesn't get washed or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a huge contrast to the basic black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an impressive sight in a market dominated by clunky boxes.
