best automatic vacuum Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more efficient, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on different types of floors. Choose models that permit you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.
When I tried the S1, it was quick to map our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to cross thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down stairs in a single move. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.
The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its water tank on board with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for around a dozen cleaning sessions before it has to be emptied, though this can vary based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating well. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. But, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combinations that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum (
Click That Link) boasts 8,700Pa of suction and offers many unique features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the
best rated robot vacuum are impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just dragging a pad across the surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.
The robot comes with a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and refilled as needed. It comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it could get stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can mitigate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are very good with a pair of spinning mops which lift and scrub the floor, rather than just moving the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever required. The mops can also be refilled at the top of the station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship model of robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned the most soiled areas efficiently, while avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble, navigating tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one area to another without changing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide space over obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, alter suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video supervision. But, you'll require a stable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A
robot hoover vacuum does a great job of removing dirt and debris however, it's not able to reach every last particle of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to clean dust from corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is made to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 offers the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an
best automatic vacuum-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also features a smart app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested to not have issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home, which allows it to get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction when needed. You can also mark areas you would like the robot to avoid using the app.
