It also comes with an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it goes from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop- and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a appealing option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no knots. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. In addition, its mops aren't as adept at removing staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately also require changing regularly.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot hoover vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans by itself, making it stand out among other models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. When it turns the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a good amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do within the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. The software that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and take care to clean everything that is that the device maps, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've set up. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the space.

The Qrevo did well during our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've evaluated. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized way. Its "Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

This machine has one major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's an easy solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up" at the conclusion of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and traces that remained after vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot to clean up a bit better than its cheaper competitors.
