Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customised using an application that allows you to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as the amount of water your mop uses.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running over furniture, wires, or stray toys. These are essential features to have in my house, stuffed with toys that are scattered about.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system which will lift the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be washed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, and only need to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've test.
This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this model for those who can afford its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. The high price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that rotate. It has an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tested. Additionally it's not as capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. The base station must be emptied and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads, which are purchased separately, must be replaced on a regular basis too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're looking to save money I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the
best robot hoover mop and
robotic cleaner and mop vacuum you can find however, its cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning, making it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard holds a
good robot vacuum amount of water, and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It must be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can add a
cleaning robot mop and vacuum solution to the dock. If you opt for this option however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a space and moved around furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area that this device maps or select specific rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a custom routine you've designed. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the space.
Like all the Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. The 'Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets however it won't always detect small things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
This device has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. The vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help this robot get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
