Basic Driving Course
The five-hour Basic Driving Course provides new drivers with valuable information, skills and techniques to help them remain crash-free throughout their driving career. The online course blends videos, presentations and discussions. It is interactive, which means students can ask questions and interact with the instructor in the same way they would in a classroom setting. Online courses eliminate the need to travel, which is an issue for some students.
The first lesson of the online course is an introduction to your car. The instructor will show how to adjust the seat, steering wheel and mirrors to ensure a comfortable driving position. You will then learn how to begin and put the vehicle in gear. After that, the instructor will teach you how to steer and maneuver your vehicle through different turns.
Once you are confident with these basic maneuvers, you will be taught how to manage highway driving. This includes how you can safely merge into traffic to avoid collisions. The course also teaches defensive
Driving Instructor Training strategies to assist you in passing your road test.
You will receive an email proof of completion after completing the course. This certificate must be presented to the NYSED when you schedule your road test.
If you've received an incident ticket, you may be required to complete an aggressive Driver Course as part of your probationary driver program. This 8-hour online course is designed to be fun and interactive as well as educational. The online course uses animations, video and text to create an exciting experience. The online course is flexible and lets you break when you need to, but you will always return to where you started. The online course also works on any tablet, computer or smartphone. All measurements in the course are both imperial as well as metric.
Advanced Driving Course
A driving course for advanced drivers can be a good option for those who are already familiar with the road and wish to improve their skills and increase their safety. These courses can help improve drivers' ability to maneuver in tough conditions, and decrease the chance of collisions. They also can lower insurance costs and qualify for specialized discounts. In addition to providing tangible economic benefits, these classes can help drivers feel more comfortable when driving.
Skilful driving refers to the ability to drive a motor vehicle safely, smoothly and systematically in any traffic or road conditions. It requires a high standard of observation, planning and timing combined with excellent handling ability. IAM and RoSPA's advanced driver classes are based on these skills and can help you adapt to changing road conditions.
Defensive driving is among the most crucial skills you can learn for safe road usage. The use of defensive driving techniques can help to prevent human error and keep you and others safe on the road. These include keeping safe following distances and being aware of your surroundings at all times.
Hazard perception is a second skill that many people do not master. This includes recognizing unpredictable and unplanned driving. The ability to quickly identify and react to dangers can dramatically reduce the rate of accidents. Many advanced
Driving lessons Grimsby classes focus on improving hazard perception as well as other key safety techniques like skid control and effective brakes.
Even the most experienced drivers may forget certain safety practices or become less vigilant as time passes. Skills that were once honed with diligence can erode over time, which could cause poor decisions on the road. These errors are especially risky between midnight and 6 a.m. and as late as in the late afternoon.
You can enhance your driving abilities by completing a quality-assured advanced IAM/RoSPA course. These skills can be put to test in a drive followed by a certified IAM/RoSPA examiner.

Tony Gilbert has asked Mac McGarry to arrange for Observers to be assigned on the day of assessments or Demo Drives. Martin Evans will order RSADC flyers to be distributed after tests or demonstration drives. Martin will also have badges that are road smart for those who require them.
Pass Plus Course
Pass Plus is a program for new drivers that takes them through additional driving techniques and training that they might not have had the opportunity to acquire during their driving lessons. It is now becoming increasingly popular for newly qualified drivers to take, since it will help them build confidence on the road and could also result in discounts on their car insurance later on in life.
The course is comprised of six parts that focus on different aspects of driving in different conditions and in different environments. The course does not contain a final test, but you will be rated constantly throughout the course to ensure that you have met the required standard. You will be awarded a grade of "achieved" or "exceeded".
The course also includes a motorway driving component that will provide you with experience with entering and exiting dual-carriageways, and how to maintain an appropriate distance between vehicles when you're overtaking. It is essential to know how to deal with these situations in a safe environment before you face them on the road, since collisions involving new drivers are more likely to occur in these areas.
Rural driving also features in the course and can be a particular challenge for some new drivers. You will learn to drive safely in these conditions and to react quickly if you meet animals or pedestrians on the road. It is vital to learn how to be safe in these situations since you are likely to come across them on a regular basis.
In the course, you will also learn about driving in city centres and how to deal with traffic and pedestrians. This course will prepare you for driving situations that you may encounter on a regular basis and will make you more confident.
Pass Plus can be completed at any time after passing your practical
Driving Instructor Training test, but it is recommended that you do it within the first year following you pass. Most accidents involving new drivers occur within the first year after obtaining their license. The additional training you receive through Pass Plus will help you to build confidence to drive in any condition and may reduce your accident rates over time.
